Interacting with Posts

Posts are the core of the Experience platform. Here's everything you can do when you encounter a post on the platform.

Viewing Posts

Posts can contain a mix of:

• Text — Written content, captions, and stories.
• Images — Single images or multi-image carousels.
• Videos — Video content with playback controls and duration indicator.
• Audio — Audio files with a player and duration display.

Media Carousels

Some posts contain multiple images or videos. Swipe left/right (mobile) or use the arrow controls (desktop) to browse through all the media in a post.

Liking Posts

• Tap or click the heart icon below the post.
• The icon fills in and the like count increases.
• Tap again to Unlike.
• You can view all posts you've liked on your profile under the Liked tab.

Commenting on Posts

1. Click the comment icon below the post.
2. Type your comment in the text field.
3. Press Send or hit Enter.

Replying to Comments

• Click Reply on any comment to start a threaded conversation.

Liking Comments

• Click the heart icon next to any comment to like it.

Mentioning Users in Comments

• Type @ followed by a username to mention someone.
• The mentioned user will receive a notification.

Echoing (Resharing) Posts

Echoing is The Experience's version of resharing or retweeting:

1. Click the echo icon (reshare icon) below a post.
2. The post is shared to your profile and appears on your Echoed tab.
3. Your followers will see the reshared post in their feeds.
4. The original creator is always credited.

Note: Not all posts can be echoed. Some creators may restrict resharing on certain content.

Viewing Post Details

Click on a post to open its full detail view, where you can:

• See the full-size media content.
• Read all the comments.
• View the post's like count, comment count, and echo count.
• See when the post was published.

Post Visibility Indicators

Posts may have icons or badges indicating their access level:
