Your profile is how other users and creators see you on Experience. A complete profile helps you connect with other users and build your presence on the platform.
Editing Your Profile
- Click on your Profile icon in the navigation bar.
- Click the Edit Profile button on your profile page.
Profile Picture
- Click on your avatar/profile picture area.
- Upload an image from your device.
- Your profile picture appears next to your posts, comments, and messages.
- Recommended: Use a clear, square image for best results.
Profile Banner
- Click on the banner area at the top of your profile.
- Upload a wide image to serve as your profile header.
- This is the first thing visitors see when they visit your profile.
Profile Information
You can customize the following:
- Display Name — Your full name or display name that appears on your profile.
- Username — Your unique handle (e.g., @yourname). This is part of your profile URL.
- Bio — A short description about yourself (visible to everyone who visits your profile).
- Location — Optionally share your city or region.
- Website — Add a link to your personal website.
- Social Links — Add links to your other social media profiles:
- Twitter/X
- TikTok
- Other platforms
Profile Visibility
You can control who sees your profile information:
- Public Profile — Anyone can view your profile and public posts.
- Private Profile — Only approved followers can see your posts and activity.
To toggle your profile visibility:
- Go to Settings > Privacy.
- Toggle Profile Visibility to public or private.
Profile Stats
Your profile displays:
- Posts count — Number of posts you've made.
- Followers — Number of users following you.
- Following — Number of users you follow.
Note: You can hide these counts in your privacy settings.
Profile Tabs
Your profile page has multiple tabs:
- Posts — All your original posts.
- Echoed — Posts you've reshared from other users.
- Liked — Posts you've liked.
- Media — A gallery view of all your images, videos, and audio content.
